The Carlton Hotel are proud to present Scotlands first Dementia Friendly hotel room. Working closely with local dementia groups we were able to create a suitable living and sleeping environment for guests with dementia.
After careful planning and consideration to ensure all elements of this beautiful room were suitable and appropriately placed we opened the door to the Elizabeth Ann bedroom on 23rd May 2019.
Ensuring all details from wall and fixture colours, spacing and furniture, signage and menus were suitable for all guests who may live with dementia.
